It's simply because drying out your skin gets rid of spots. Its a problem you have to deal with, because you cant use moisturiser or it defeats the object.
Try a) Teatree Oil
b) Regular toner and exfoliator
These work as good as spot cream.
Its a problem you cant avoid, so I'm sorry, you need another solution :
|It's drying out your skin, to stop grease and oil settling on the skin, which in turn will cause spots.
Either use a gentler spot cream i.e. one for sensitive skin or buy a non oily/greasy moisturiser to balance out the drying.
