Did anyone have to change their face cream because of it containing vitamin a?how dangerous it is?im 25weeks!?

I am not sure what face cream you use but I really wouldn't worry about it. Ask your doctor if you are really curious to know but I still use all my original face creams and my girl is healthy. Good luck!Did anyone have to change their face cream because of it containing vitamin a?how dangerous it is?im 25weeks!?
Retinoids can be absorbed into the body through the skin.

From Babycenter:

';Retinoids are one of the skin-care ingredients that experts, including Baumann, recommend that expectant moms stay away from. Some studies have shown that high doses of vitamin A during pregnancy can be harmful to an unborn child. And oral retinoids, such as isotretinoin (Accutane, an acne treatment), are known to cause birth defects.

If you've been using a skin cream that contains a retinoid, don't panic. Retinoids have not been shown to cause problems in their topical form in pregnant women.

';There is no data to show these retinoids ingredients are harmful when used on the skin 鈥?doctors are just being extra cautious,'; explains Baumann.';

So your baby is probably fine... but definitely stop using that cream until after delivery and breastfeeding.Did anyone have to change their face cream because of it containing vitamin a?how dangerous it is?im 25weeks!?
My dr told me that any face cream/wash was fine,even washes with salicilyc acid. People that say thats bad,as long as its not a peel or something,it's fine,they're wrong. I specifically asked my dr about that.
