I'll be going to beijing this x'mas eve, what is the best face cream to apply in this cold weather?

Oh my! It's bitterly cold and dry in Beijing. And this is also when we say goodbye to water-based brands such as H20 and Biotherm -- they're not ';oily'; enough.

Here're my recommendations for people with normal to slightly dry skin (think they'll work for very dry skin too):

1) Elizabeth Arden Perpetual Moisture 24 Cream (BEST)

It repaired my peeling and painful skin within a day when I stupidly tried to live through winter with my water-based autumn moisturizer. And it really keeps your skin moisturized for 24 hours.

2) Lancome Primordiale Optimum Visibly Smoothing Fluid Moisturiser, with SPF 15

This is not a single purpose moisturizer but combines ageing-prevention + SPF 15 + moisturizer to keep skin supple in Beijing. Will need a separate night-cream without the SPF 15 element though.

3) Olay

If you're on a tight budget, their various moisture creams should work well. I've tried a couple of them which are great (don't last 24 hours though) but I can't remember the exact names. You can buy it from Watsons, most supermarkets and departmental stores in Beijing.

And don't forget your body moisturizer too. I swear I feel my face and skin start to wrinkle tightly like a prune every time I step out of the shower in winter.I'll be going to beijing this x'mas eve, what is the best face cream to apply in this cold weather?
